I've had a couple of people who went over and participated in some name bashing on another board - but weren't deleted as members from this one - PM to apologize and ask if it's OK if they continue to participate here. The answer is, "Of course, darlin'!" Just play nice. . .
Two people who were deleted for not respecting MB policies have requested to be re-instated as members, also with apologies. I'm not naming names since it's never my intention to embarrass anyone here.
For those of you who might be considering coming home, know you're always welcome to do so, so long as the policies of THIS Message Board are respected. It's not possible to re-instate members who were deleted, however, as they were not banned, but deleted. If I had banned them, an embarrassing "Banned" flag would have automatically appeared wherever they've posted. Again, it wasn't my intention to embarrass anyone.
If you want to re-introduce yourselves, feel free. Otherwise, just start with a whole new clean slate.
The light's always on. . .and the coffee brewin'. Come on in and set a spell.

Yes, Forgiveness is a gift to yourself, as well as to the person forgiven. You will never forget the memories or any pain. But, you can release the evil demons from your Heart & take your Power back.
God bless you, PB.

Let me make one thing very clear: this is not some 'big hearted' gesture on my part. I'm no saint! I realize only too well how much all of us fall short of the mark at times. There really are NO 'good guys, bad guys.' We're all just human.
If I failed to extend a welcome to those who want to come back. . .what would I deserve the next time I needed someone to 'cover' my shortcomings with a big dose of simple acceptance? (Yes, love.) We are ALL God's children, warts and beauty spots combined. It's really that simple.
And Debbie, I work at leaving the past in the past. Not that I 'forget' the pain. . .but what has that got to do with me, right NOW? Reliving and giving fresh life to painful memories is a silly way to spend my current - otherwise pain free - moment, IMO!

Thanks, PB. You post is inspirational to me.
We all have things to sort out & let go, even if the emotion is catergorized somewhere to draw from later of, to learn from? Living in the Now is a blessing from God. Hope is for the Future.
Yes, the Bible is a very good lesson book for our walk through this journey on Earth. If more folks would just recite The Golden Rule & The Ten Commandments daily as they brush those teeth or prepare that pot of coffee or something (and I don't even mind what your belief system may be - the words are excellent to strive towards?), I feel this World would be so much more generous from our Souls towards Mankind in every encounter.
Thank you for this outlet,
Debbie in GA

There is a genuine effort put forth HERE to be kind and respectful to one another. Sometimes we fail. But it's a good deal for everyone reading our posts when we try to be a little better in 'character' than what we may really feel like being in person. There truly is an art to getting along even when it comes to sharing cyberspace with cyber personalities. We've been pretty good at managing ourselves.
With that said and with that as my perspective, I must acknowledge, as I moderate and post, that rules are put into place that help assure the reader is coming into the most positive message board that can be offered by and in support of Gaits of Gold.
All members should respect the rules as best we can and according to how we understand them. Accept that this Board is privately owned and operated and is intended to be a hospitality house for all the members to kindly enjoy while it also supports Gaits of Gold products and philosophies. I accept and respect the hospitality of the hostess/owner when I am in the house. Though I confess that I have not always been a great role model for readers. I'm working on it and forgiveness is always appreciated even when it is not asked for.
As one of the moderators of the board, I'll do what I think is best for the purpose of the board. As far as a message board community goes, we should get back to the business of what this board is all about and enjoy it as we will for what it is.
If you don't already know, please acquaint yourselves with the Welcoming Statement and Rules of the Board Topic by Brenda Imus.
Thanks for your patience in allowing me to share a few thoughts and welcome back to those who return.

I would like to say there are 3 truths to every story, your truth, my truth and GOD'S TRUTH WHICH IS ALL KNOWLEDGE.
Where do I stand now?

Well....I'm one of those people....
I stopped posting here several months ago.....some of you may remember me, but there's lots and lots of new members....friends I've yet to meet.
IMO, many of us left, with bad feelings in our hearts, based on the story 'one of our own' was telling. It seemed so believeable! And she was SO convincing. While I have no intention of re-living the saga...(those of you who were around at the time may have bits and pieces of it...if you're new to the board, you'll be 'in the dark'.....) I think there are lessons to be learned. I'd like to share some of mine.
What I want to point out, and what has become (sometimes) painfully clear to me, is that virtually nothing is exactly as it appears. Folks you think are above slandering others, may not actually be. There are two sides to each story and the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle......lots of times the facts will get skewed to fit a particular point of view and hidden agendas are well covered. My point here is that I wish I had been more cautious....I wish I had waited to pass judgement....I wish I had not placed so much faith in the words of a few.....
My apologies are sincere, to Brenda Imus and to all members of this board. I admire you all for your strength of conviction and loyalty. I have a lot to learn from you folks...thanks for keepin the barn door open!
With highest regards,
RedHorseMama

Hey RHM,
Thank you for coming back home to a most sincere & loving family here at GOG.
I am humbled by your sharing your Truth.
We all have our lessons to be learned & I hold you in high regard for stepping forward, opening your Heart & sharing one of your lessons with me, us.
Your words should be a reminder, or a wake up call, to each & every one of us that we are all just human... hopefully, striving to be at our best human possible.
Welcome home, redhorsemama.
Hugs,
Debbie in GA

A sincere 'welcome back,' RHM. While you need not have posted a public apology to be welcome back with open arms (your membership was never deleted - I could hardly find fault with you for simply having what may have simply been differing honest opinions), I appreciate your honesty in coming forward like this.
There is such a world of hurt, or healing, in the words of our mouths, be they written or spoken. Your words, here, have brought healing.
Thank you.
Brenda

| Those of us that will 'be in the dark' say, 'we're happy to have you share, stories, information, jokes, and lots of warm feelings, because that's what everyone here seems to do. I'm happy the problems are 'fixed' because the more the merrier here. Welcome back.

Hi Red! Glad to see you!
Although I myself have lived in a state of confused limbo over the past several months, I still come back "home" (here) where I met some of the best folks I've ever had the pleasure to know.
