We had pups today started at 5AM and finished at 5PM  and of course that was after we lost the first born and had to take her to the vets office 3 times today to get Oxytocin shots so she could push them out,  but thank god they all finally came out and we did not have to do a C-section !

We also lost the last born,  so we have 3 live boys right now, 1 runt and 2 normal size.   So 5 total 1 girl, 4 boys ,  3 live boys left.

Very, very cute. Was papa a ACD also? I really like that white one with the black ring around his eye. Sorry about the loss of the other pups.

Joy I have a red male ACD that was the stud and 3 pups had one eye patch and 1 has a plain face and the 1st born female that died had a double mask and of course was the prettiest.

ACD pups are born white and start to develop there color as they age,  since this is our first litter I'm not sure how to tell who is blue or red,  so I think maybe looking at the toe pads I have 2 blue and 1 red.

Here is the father     Dr. K Raging Red River of Buzzard  "River"

He is very nice looking. Very 'proud' as my 6 year old son would say.

Spottd, Your puppies are so cute.  Keep the pictures coming so we can see them grow up.  Our Jake is doing better.  I have had him in the gave away columns and even the for sale.  Got a few calls, but by that time my husband calmed down and I had to tell the people he was gone.  Ha! I just keep one step ahead of him to keep him out of trouble.  Was a perfect camp dog on our vac. a couple weeks ago.  I'm learning to tie him up when I go to the barn.  He chases the horses a few minutes and then  I get his attention and tell him good boy and he soon returns to me and I tie him up.  Just gotta out smart them. 3 weeks old, there color is starting to come in good, I thought I had 1 red and 2 blue but now I think I have 2 red 1 blue or all red ! and I prefer blue, but I'm not keeping them, so it don't matter and of course my least favorite in markings is the plain face, but what a lover he has turned out to be and has won my heart and the one with the most color is a independent little brat, gonna be like mom.

4 weeks here

Well here are the pups, they are 6 weeks old this week and they have all turned out to be reds.

The 2 in this picture are the same 2 above and on the same side still.

This one below is the one with his mom kissing him.

Thanks for the updated pictures.  They are just so sweet.  Are they getting ready to go to their new homes?  My bad dog Jake is doing better, I'm still out smarting him on most things.  When he is in the herding stance and he is ready to go after a horse, I just squeek his rubber chicken and he comes running, ha! just figured that out yesterday.  He's got more toys that a kid has.  Expecially likes the frisbee, he loves to jump up but he also lets you know when he is done playing.

Sorry to hear about your loosing a few pups early on.  That's one of the saddest parts when having pups.  Their just adorable, i've always been intrigued by Cattle Dogs,  I have Cardigan Welsh Corgis.  One of my boys "Onyx" lives in the barn with Mo my TWH.  He's a herding breed as well, has worked sheep, but has no interest in even thinking about herding Mo.  The two do quite well together, I've tried to get a pic of Onyx snoozing at Mo's feet as Mo naps.  But, they always hear me coming out the door and wake up.  I sure hope Mo never sleepwalks.

I love viewing your pup pix.

Well all the pups are sold, I am very happy with the people who purchased them.

First pup went to a 50 acre farm to be a Goat herder.

The other two pups went to a father and daughter,  who have a 40 acre farm and the daughter is building a house on the back of the farm so the pups won't live together but they will be neighbors, her husbands mom is also a vet tech.

Here is some last pictures of  my babies, I'm a little sad now they are all gone, oh well lets go riding now, camping here we come !!

Spotd, they are so adorable.  I'm sure the new owners will love them.  We have a pool for our dog too.  He walks around in it and laps up the water.  Go have fun camping now :D

I am just sick,  I accidentally deleted my entire dog album on webshots,  I had pictures of the last 4 years on there !!

Well I still have the puppies photos on my PC , just lost all the pup pictures of the parents,  I have gotten kinda slack about making hardcopies because of the webshots albums, will have to rebuild the album.
